Stefano Cortiglioni

Biography: With a Masters' degree in mechanical engineering and Executive MBA in Bologna Business School, I have spent most of my carrier in the manufacturing. Steve Vercammen

Biography: I started my career in airline and pharmaceutical manufacturing, before taking on a challenge in Mexico. Those experiences taught me the importance of visual communication, standardization and process improvement. Next I switched to a sales function in automation engineering advising customers from the beginning. 8 years later I stepped into the material handling business with Toyota, where the Genchi Genbutsu and Kaizen approach really is a part of our DNA. Lutz Pallmann

Biography: My work as an instructor and at various levels of maintenance has made it easy for me, in addition to training as a machining technician and studying mechanical engineering, to gain access to the Toyota Production System. Systematic elimination of disturbance causes and developing people how to master processes and not making them to serve machines as a servant is also an important part of the Toyota production system.

After the introduction of CIP at the Daimler plant in Berlin, I was allowed to take over responsibility for the introduction and implementation of Kaizen / CIP in two aluminium extrusion plants in Austria and Switzerland as a member of the management board. Since 2018 I am allowed to build and expand the Toyota Lean Academy Germany. "There are many who like, what they should and there are few who are allowed to want, what they can".

Sam Nomura

Nomura-san is our undisputable TPS sensei with more than 50 years of experience of implementing TPS in the Toyota group. First in senior leadership positions internationally in Toyota Motor Corporation and after that moving to Toyota Industries Corporation taking the role as Senior TPS advisor during 10 years to Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG).
